I’m soooo excited to be staying home for the holidays this year. We usually travel and this year we’re lucky enough to have family come to us. With the anticipation of spending Christmas at home, I’m extra inspired to make our home feel festive and cozy. Today, I made stockings out of a pile of jeans. Here’s how…DIY recycled denim stocking via everything golden blog

3 pairs of jeans makes 4 stockings.

1. Cut off the legs and open them up in the center, then draw and cut a pattern and position it flush with the hem of the pant.

2. Use a contrasting denim with a zig zag stitch for the patches.

3. Facing right sides together, cut out the back piece and sew the sides.

4. For the hanger, cut off a few belt loops and hot glue or hand sew them to the inside. That’s it, super easy!
